Bare Essentials – Introduction to Bookbinding

Discover the timeless art of hand bookbinding as you create your own A4 artist journal from scratch.

In this full-day Gather & Create workshop, you'll learn the fundamentals of traditional bookbinding while making a beautiful exposed-spine journal using quality artist papers, bookboard and linen thread. Guided step by step, you'll prepare, assemble and stitch your journal by hand.

Perfect for artists, sketching, mixed media, or as your journal for my Art in the Canefields classes.

No previous experience is necessary, and with our small group size you'll receive plenty of individual guidance throughout the day.
